The Rev Roof Tent is a 4-season, 2-person, expedition-ready and lightweight roof tent. The modular approach to roof tent camping makes it easy for one person to set up and take down the tent, simple storage and the ability to quickly take the Rev Tent down from the roof and set it up anywhere on the camping destination.
• Camp where you want and enjoy the flexibility of choosing between roof or ground camping.
• Has the thickest mattress of all roof tents.
• 18 - 32 kg lighter than similar roof tents. With a weight of 38 kg (including ladder and mattress), the Rev RTT is the lightest in the world.
• Easy to handle by one person in 3 parts for mounting and dismounting from vehicles and storage:
• Tent/mattress weighs 11.4 kg
• Rev Platform weighs 24 kg
• Ladder weighs 5 kg
You do not need to have the roof tent mounted on the car on a daily basis. Hang the Rev Tent on the garage wall and only mount it on the vehicle when you are going camping.
• The Rev Roof Tent can carry up to 215 kg total weight of people, people and dog, camping equipment or a combination thereof.
- Roof bars or a Roof Rack is necessary.
** The roof bars must be placed with a distance of at least 61 cm and a maximum of 102 cm. The recommended distance between the bars is 81 cm.
*** The vehicle's roof and the dynamic load capacity of the roof bars (while driving) must be at least 68 kg.
The included mounting hardware fits all types of roof bars and Roof Racks as long as they are no wider than 100 mm and no higher than 38 mm.
**NOTE: Rev Platform X comes unassembled. This means you have to assemble Rev Platform X yourself! All necessary tools are included. Are you nervous about this? It's easy, but it takes time.
